Helping One Woman – Manteca Chapter
Helping One Woman Manteca (HOW Manteca) is a local chapter of the national Helping One Woman nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women facing serious illness, hardship, or unexpected life challenges. Our mission is simple but powerful: when a woman in our community is in need, we come together to support her through compassion, connection, and generosity.
Each month, our chapter hosts a community dinner where attendees gather to share a meal, hear the recipient’s story, and contribute directly to supporting her journey. Through raffles, dessert and silent auctions, we provide financial assistance as a community surrounding the recipient and her family with encouragement and care.
HOW Manteca is built on the belief that small acts of kindness, when multiplied through community, can make a life-changing impact. By bringing people together around a shared table, we foster meaningful connections and demonstrate the power of neighbors helping neighbors.
